The High Mountain Chordsmen always perform at Prescott's fabulous Acker Night, a charity event, and 2012 was no exception. Downtown was closed to traffic and every storefront featured a musical group, well over 100 last year. We were at the Chase Bank lobby, and there was plenty of room to stage a mini version of our "Let's Celebrate" variety show, with our quartets, Radio Flyer, and the Snappy Tappers joining in the fun. With Dick Patton making sure that everyone in the crowd noticed the tip bag, we collected $450 for the Acker Foundation.
